The last intro was too geeky and rather stupid, so I decided to update (again). I've been away for a long time; I never really had too much luck on this site, and I generally believe that was due to my profile setup. When it comes to connecting with people online, you need the physical appeal to make that first spark happen - the "erotic capital" that models and actors/actresses have to develop - and it's something I've been intimidated about really exploiting. A false hope of wanting people to see me for who I am beyond the text & pictures comes to mind, but in the end, it's simply that - a false hope. So I'm going to resolve to change that. First off, by adding updated pictures that show more of who I am as a per; and second, by illustrating what my motives and drives are in life - to provide a sense of what my passions are, along with my strengths and desires. In the past, I played the violin - and I really need to return to it; I draw and cartoon whenever I get the opportunity; I design devices and machines (at least in theory & function - actual designs are typically less-flamboyant and more grounded by costing); I am an amateur futurist as well, always mindful of the latest in (developmental) technological and philosophical. I am currently working to return to university to complete my doctorate in materials engineering. I have a desire to develop materials & material construct that can be used in expanding frontiers, such as deep-marine & subterranean.

My Ideal Person This is something I need to develop over time, as that the heart's desires are subjected to the challenges we face at different points in our lives. But for now, I will detail the basics and let you interpret from there.

I consider myself classically educated (not necessarily "smart" at all times, but intelligent and focused, nonetheless). My preference is for friends who are likewise in their lives' directions as well.

I try to be out-going and adventurous whenever I can, but the variance in weather out where I live can make it challenge.

I do have a preference for people who are well-informed, and those who do their best to keep abreast of the latest news & information regarding regional, national & international news.

I would like to consider myself "inventive" and I tend to pursue passions that let me create with my mind & my hands. To that end, I have a "soft spot" for people who are the same in those expressions of mind and emotion.

My Myers-Briggs Personality type is INTP (Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Perceptive): I prefer to go most emotional demands solo, I tend to think towards big goals (but I do admit I focus on details as well, so I may be Sensing as well), I definitely think over all decisions, and I perceive the consequences over a duration of time before acting. Someone with a similar personality is generally most compatible, but those who are more extroverted are appreciated as well. Just don't be surprised when I don't give you all the details immediately..

In the end, who I am as a person is a constant evolution, and I am generally attracted most to those who feel similar about their own lives. I will admit a twinge of jealously when I come across others who have moved along further in their lives than myself (esp. in educational achievements), but what's life without a little jealousy, right?
